Hi, I'm encountering an issue while trying to automate using "WebAutomation" activities on the website. Even though all the necessary extensions are installed in both browsers, I am still unable to work with WebAutomation. Could you please help me with this?

Hi @iffhiba, It looks like there might be an issue with the extension installation. I faced a similar problem a few days ago, and the documentation linked below helped resolve it:

You might also want to check with your IT BRM about any group policy updates that could be affecting the extensions.

Hey thanks, one more question regarding this, if there are any updates on the browsers too, will it affect during the bot execution?

Yes, browser updates can sometimes affect installed extensions. Here's how:

  • Compatibility Issues: New browser versions might not be fully compatible with older versions of extensions, leading to potential malfunctions or complete inoperability.
  • Extension Permissions: Browser updates might change how permissions are handled, which could impact the functionality of extensions.
  • Deprecation: Occasionally, updates might deprecate certain APIs that extensions rely on, requiring updates or replacements.
  • Security Restrictions: Enhanced security features in new browser versions could block or limit the functionality of some extensions.

To mitigate these issues, ensure that both the browser and extensions are kept up to date. If you encounter problems after a browser update, checking the extension's support documentation or contacting the support team can provide solutions.
