Key Vault
The Key Vault is a secure storage system for managing sensitive information, such as credentials, keys, and secrets, required for automation. It encrypts and centralizes this data, ensuring protection and access only to authorized users or bots, while streamlining automation workflows.
By default, credential storage is set to the “Robility Manager Instance.” Only tenant administrators can configure this to integrate external vault systems, such as Azure Key Vault.
Supported Third-Party Vaults
Robility supports integration with Azure Key Vault, a secure cloud service for managing sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and API keys with advanced encryption mechanism to protect credentials and sensitive data during automation. This integration includes features like access control and detailed logging, ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
Steps to Configure Azure Key Vault:
1. Navigate to the “Settings” page in Robility Manager and click on “Key Vault”.
2. Select “Azure” from the available options.
3. Enter the required details such as “Vault URI, Tenant ID, Client ID and Client Secret ID”.
4. Click “Validate”. Once the credentials are successfully validated, Azure Key Vault will be ready for use.
