Pin & Key Management

Estimated reading: 3 minutes

The Pin & Key feature securely stores and manages PINs and keys used by automation workflows. Instead of embedding sensitive values directly into workflows, credentials are stored securely in the Vault and retrieved at runtime when required.

PINs and keys are commonly used for authentication, authorization, and secure integration with applications.

Key Benefits

i. Centralized Secret Storage: Store PIN and Key values securely in a centralized location instead of embedding them across multiple workflows.
ii. Secure Credential Management: Protect sensitive credentials by storing them securely and retrieving them at runtime only by authorized users or robots.
iii. Reusability: Use the same PIN and Key across multiple workflows without duplicating credentials.
iv. Easy Credential Rotation: Update a PIN or Key in the Vault without modifying the workflows that rely on it.
